Wow, its already the end of May....it has snuck up on us fast. We leave this Sunday for
Vancouver to begin our 4 month cruise stint on board the Celebrity ship Infinity.

To say we're excited is an understatement. From the time we signed on for this in early
March till now has been a whirlwind of activity and we're still trying to catch our breath. So,
the first and biggest news...
Our CD is done! It turned out absolutely fantastic, we think you'll all love it. From the sound
production to the artwork it came together even better than we had hoped. We can't wait for
you to hear it! It's been a long and grueling two months trying to squeeze it all in time, but
we did it. Matt has put together a great site specifically for the CD,
www.homefreefromthetop.com You can order it directly from there. It will also eventually be
available on iTunes and some other a cappella friendly sites, ORRRRRR.......
Come to our release party! This Thursday night, the 24th, we will officially be debuting the
CD, as well as singing a ton of new songs and old favorites. It runs from 8-12pm (and is
smoke-free!) at the Bandanna Brewery in Mankato. Come join us and wish us a bon
voyage!
We will also be introducing the newest member to Home Free, Jeff Grider! Jeff has a
fantastic voice and we're really excited to have him join us. Why did we add a new
member? Well, unfortunately Matt is no longer able to join us for the cruise. He has just
accepted a position in the cast of Les Miserables at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre - it's
been a dream of his forever to pursue musical theatre, and this was an opportunity he
couldn't pass up. He's not leaving the group, he just isn't available for the cruise. So, after
a long and harrowing search across the whole country, we found Jeff! Jeff was the director
for two years of an a cappella group called the Xtension Chords at the University of Illinois,
and just graduated with a master's degree in Human Resource Management. (yeah, we're
not sure what that means either)
So, that's what we're up to. You might not hear anything from us again until we get back in
September, but in the meantime you have our new CD to listen to! Thanks as always to
everyone for your support, and remember, Home Free CDs make GREAT Christmas
presents!
